Harrods Update

A small progress report on Harrods, I've spent the last couple of days working on the roof and the front entrance to the building. After several changes I've managed to get both sorted out.

The inside of the shop is practically finished. I've the main shop sign to create, some smaller internal signs and a few items to make but it's almost done.

I've taken a couple of quick photos just to let you see how it's going. I might be able to unveil the completed shop next week.

Medieval / Tudor Watermill

I'm currently working on a collection of Medieval / Tudor buildings the great Hall being the largest and first piece created. I'm trying to come up with some new and unusual designs. My second building is a watermill which I'm very pleased with it just looks right - if you know what I mean! The waterwheel does go around and it turns the millstone inside.

I'm part way through building a row of shops and I may do a church and a tower as well.

Don Quixote & Windmill

I came across a bundle of dolls houses a few weeks ago as I'm always on the lookout for some thing new to customise. This is the first of these small plastic buildings I'm going to decorate. I'm sure those of you who are familiar with my very early work will recognise this as the very first building I ever customised.

As I had previously done a pair of figures as Don Quixote and his trusted servant Sancho Panza what better than to place them with the windmill!

Tudor Hall Furnished

My Tudor Hall is finished at last and here are some of the interior pictures. I've also created it's own blog page with more pictures and some time I'll also create a YouTube video for it.

Blog Page Changes

Hi every one, I was going to post my new pictures of the finished Tudor Hall and I wanted to use a separate blog page for all my pictures. But I haven't got one on my main blog so I need to shuffle a few things around. I'm now trying to plan in advance so I'm going to create two more blogs if possible and theme each one.

So I'm sorry if your visiting this weekend if things keep moving or disappearing while I sort it all out.

There will be new things to look at when I'm done.

Many thanks, bye for now, Emma.

A Very Bad Saturday.......With A Bright Side!

Well plans for this weekend have all gone to pot, I'm currently typing this very slowly with my left hand as my right is in a sling. I was rushing down the stairs to answer the front door when I slipped and fell. I caught my arm in the banisters and ended up dislocating my shoulder as I landed.
OH MY WORD!!!!!!!!! (I won't be rude!)

I thought I'd broke my arm I have never felt anything as bad as that! So the upshot of that is I spent several hours late Saturday afternoon  in my local A&E getting patched up. As you can imagine the Playmobil work has been put to one side for now.

Oh and the bright side? Lots of drugs, a week off work and being waited on hand and foot.
